MI Supports Vocational Education through Internship Program with Politeknik Industri Furniture dan Pengolahan Kayu

As part of its commitment to support vocational education and improve the quality of industrial human resources, Mebel International (MI) consistently provides internship opportunities for students from Politeknik Industri Furniture dan Pengolahan Kayu. This program is designed to offer real-world experience in the furniture industry and strengthen the connection between education and industry.

During the internship, students are directly involved in various production and operational activities from raw material processing and production management to quality control. With guidance from MI’s experienced professionals, interns gain practical technical knowledge and develop key workplace skills.

“I’m very happy to have the opportunity to intern at Mebel International. I’ve learned many things that I didn’t get in class, such as quality control and how to work professionally in a team,” shared one of the interns from Politeknik Industri Furniture dan Pengolahan Kayu.
In addition to benefiting the students, this program also allows MI to identify potential future employees who are already familiar with the company’s work culture and export-standard furniture production processes.

Mebel International remains committed to supporting government programs to develop skilled, competitive industrial workers — one of which is through partnerships with vocational education institutions like this.
This program is more than just an internship, it is our investment in Indonesia’s future.
