Notice of Blood Donation Event at Mebel International
Semarang, 4 November 2023 – Mebel International successfully organized a blood donation event on Saturday, 4 November 2023, at the company’s headquarters in Semarang. This activity is part of the company’s commitment to support public health and strengthen the sense of social solidarity.
The event, which started at 09.00 WIB, was in collaboration with the Semarang Branch of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI). The activity managed to collect as many as 120 blood bags which will later be distributed to hospitals and those in need.
Social Concern and Company Commitment
In her speech, Director of Mebel International, Mrs. Shianny, expressed her appreciation to all employees and partners who participated. “This activity is a tangible manifestation of our concern for the community. Blood donation not only helps those in need, but also provides health benefits for the donors,” she said.
A total of 150 Mebel International employees registered to become donors, with the final result of 120 people successfully qualifying to donate blood. The blood donation session was conducted in an orderly manner and in accordance with the health protocols set by PMI, ensuring the comfort and safety of all participants.
Process and Participation
PMI Semarang Branch provided a professional medical team who checked the health of prospective donors before blood collection. The blood donation process went smoothly thanks to the full support of the company, which prepared a special room for the activity and provided adequate health facilities.
In addition, the event received a positive response from employees and partners. “I feel proud to be part of this activity. Besides helping others, I also feel healthier after donating blood,” said one of the participants, Mr. Frans, a director at Mebel International.

With 120 blood bags collected, it is hoped that this activity can help fulfill the need for blood in hospitals in the Semarang area, especially for patients who need urgent blood transfusions.
